Orion’s Salo pharmaceutical packaging and logistics unit receives forklift, automation, and equipment deliveries from THTT.
Due to increased production volumes, Orion centralized its pharmaceutical packaging and logistics operations in Salo. Orion solved its need for additional space by purchasing former Nokia mobile phone factory premises. THTT took care of the forklift delivery and equipment replenishment.
A 60-month rental agreement was made for the forklift fleet, covering financing and maintenance. The delivery included Cat EP15, Rocla Humanic, Rocla SST16 forklifts, Rocla T20 pallet movers, Rocla T16 forklifts designed for handling two pallets, and Rocla TWS20 pallet movers.
Existing KASTEN shelves were utilized in the warehouse equipment, which were supplemented with new parts. In addition, custom KASTEN Tornado warehouse automation systems were delivered to meet the customer’s specific needs.
Orion’s procurement manager Jari Takatupa and warehouse manager Mika Järvinen are satisfied with the smooth delivery process and have received valuable advice from THTT’s forklift experts.
